T Lawrence-Simon has been training circus since he was a Freshman in College where he graduated with a degree in Costume Design for Theater and trained extensively in physical theater. After assistant teaching at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, he has moved up to teaching at various circus camps and schools, and is one of the advanced aerial coaches at ESH Aerial Arts in Boston. T teaches trapeze, rope, fabric, and specializes in the aerial hoop (lyra) on which he has earned the title 'master of aerial bad-assery'. T is also gaining experience in act creation and providing valuable insight on invented apparatus. Currently, T is an instructor at the New England Center for Circus Arts, teaching the entire Lyra curriculum as well as other aerial classes.
WHAT DOES T TEACH:
T is highly skilled and qualified in teaching all static aerial apparatus from a completely beginner level to an advanced student/performer looking to expand vocabulary and create artistic performance pieces.
