T Lawrence-Simon has been training circus since he was a Freshman in College where he graduated with a degree in Costume Design for Theater and trained extensively in physical theater. After assistant teaching at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, he has moved up to teaching at circus camps and schools all over the world. He is one of the advanced aerial coaches at ESH Circus Arts in Boston. T teaches trapeze, rope, fabric, and specializes in the aerial hoop (lyra). T is also highly experienced in act creation and providing valuable insight on invented apparatus. Currently, T is an instructor at ESH Circus Arts and Circus Smirkus.
WHAT DOES T TEACH:
T is highly skilled and qualified in teaching all static aerial apparatus from a completely beginner level to an advanced student/performer looking to expand vocabulary and create artistic performance pieces.
T has trained in:
T is able to teach both private lessons, group classes, and special events (birthday parties, bachelor-ette parties...etc).
T has trained in:
- Circus Trapeze (trapeze rigged by 2 separate points)
- Dance Trapeze (also known as single point trapeze)
- Aerial Hoop/Lyra/Cerceaux
- Rope/Cordelisse
- Fabric/Silks/Tissu
- Partnering (Duo) on any aerial apparatus.
T is able to teach both private lessons, group classes, and special events (birthday parties, bachelor-ette parties...etc).
